Custom webhooks alerts for website monitoring
Quick answer
Can Lemwatch send uptime monitoring webhook for any tool?
Lemwatch can POST a JSON payload to any URL you control when a site changes state, which is how you connect it to Zapier, Make, n8n, an internal service or a tool with no native integration.
How to set it up
What you need: Any HTTPS endpoint that accepts a POST request.
- Create the receiving URL — a Zapier or Make catch hook, an n8n webhook node, or your own endpoint.
- Add it as a webhook in Lemwatch and choose which events should fire it.
- Send a test delivery and check the payload arrives in the shape your tool expects.
- Save. Failed deliveries are retried rather than dropped silently.
What the alert contains
Each event sends a JSON body with the site, the event type, the timestamp, the HTTP status or measurement that triggered it, and the incident reference, so downstream automation has everything it needs without a second lookup.
What Lemwatch watches
Every alert that reaches Custom webhooks comes from the same checks: uptime and response time, SSL and domain expiry, DNS changes, broken links, visual and content changes, Core Web Vitals and SEO regressions. You choose which of them are worth interrupting the channel for.
