What the sticker price leaves out
Checkly bills consumption, not monitors: API checks and browser (Playwright) checks draw on separate run pools, and retries plus multi-location runs multiply how fast you burn them.
Once prepaid runs are gone you pay overage — Starter is $6.50 per 1,000 browser runs and $2.60 per 10,000 API runs; Team drops to $6.25 and $2.50 respectively.
The free Hobby plan hard-stops when you hit 10k API or 1k browser runs — checks simply stop rather than billing overage like paid plans do.
One-second check frequency, traces, and private or parallel location scheduling are Enterprise-only, so the fastest self-serve interval you can actually buy is 30 seconds on Team.
