Browser Push Notifications

What Are They?

Browser push notifications deliver instant alerts to your desktop or mobile browser — even when LemWatch isn't open. They appear as native OS notifications.

How to Enable

1. When you first visit LemWatch, you'll see a prompt to enable push notifications
2. Click "Enable" and allow the browser permission
3. Or go to Settings → Notifications → Browser Push to enable later

What Triggers a Push?

• Site goes down (critical)
• SSL certificate expiring within 7 days (warning)
• Security vulnerability detected (critical)
• Performance budget exceeded (warning)

Supported Browsers

• Chrome (desktop + Android)
• Firefox (desktop)
• Edge (desktop)
• Safari (macOS Ventura+)

Managing Notifications

You can customise which events trigger push notifications in Settings → Notifications. Quiet hours also apply to push notifications.
