What the sticker price leaves out
Plan tiers are limited by quantity, not features: 1-minute checks, SSL expiry, domain expiry and nameserver change detection are included even on the free plan, so paying only buys more monitors, locations and credits.
Phone and SMS notifications come out of a monthly credit pot (25, 50 or 125 depending on tier) and extra credits are charged at $0.1 each, so noisy alerting adds a variable bill on top of the flat price.
White labelling is only partial on Free and Professional — full white label plus 10 or 20 custom status-page domains starts on the $19.95 Business plan.
Sub-accounts for client access are not available on the free plan at all, so agencies handing dashboards to clients are pushed to a paid tier regardless of monitor count.
