    Recover deleted sites and understand how the trash system works.

    Trash & Site Recovery#

    How Deletion Works#

    When you delete a site from your dashboard, it's moved to Trash — not permanently deleted. This gives you a safety net to recover accidentally deleted sites.

    Accessing Trash#

    Click Trash in the sidebar. You'll see all recently deleted sites with:

  1. Site name and URL
  2. Date deleted
  3. Who deleted it
  4. Days remaining before permanent deletion

    5. Recovering a Site#

  5. Go to Trash
  6. Find the site you want to recover
  7. Click "Restore"
  8. The site returns to your dashboard with all its historical data intact

    9. Retention Period#

  9. Deleted sites are kept in Trash for 30 days
  10. After 30 days, sites and their data are permanently deleted
  11. Permanent deletion cannot be undone

    12. Permanent Deletion#

    To immediately and permanently delete a site (skip the 30-day retention):

  12. Go to Trash
  13. Click the site's menu (⋯) → "Delete Permanently"
  14. Confirm the action — this cannot be undone

    15. What's Preserved During Recovery#

    When you restore a site, everything comes back:

  15. All historical check data and metrics
  16. Performance baselines
  17. Alert configurations
  18. Notes and annotations
  19. Group assignments and tags
