Trash & Site Recovery

How Deletion Works

When you delete a site from your dashboard, it's moved to Trash — not permanently deleted. This gives you a safety net to recover accidentally deleted sites.

Accessing Trash

Click Trash in the sidebar. You'll see all recently deleted sites with:

• Site name and URL
• Date deleted
• Who deleted it
• Days remaining before permanent deletion

Recovering a Site

1. Go to Trash
2. Find the site you want to recover
3. Click "Restore"
4. The site returns to your dashboard with all its historical data intact

Retention Period

• Deleted sites are kept in Trash for 30 days
• After 30 days, sites and their data are permanently deleted
• Permanent deletion cannot be undone

Permanent Deletion

To immediately and permanently delete a site (skip the 30-day retention):

1. Go to Trash
2. Click the site's menu (⋯) → "Delete Permanently"
3. Confirm the action — this cannot be undone

What's Preserved During Recovery

When you restore a site, everything comes back:

• All historical check data and metrics
• Performance baselines
• Alert configurations
• Notes and annotations
• Group assignments and tags
