LemWatch's Traffic Analytics gives you a lightweight, privacy-friendly view of your site's traffic patterns without requiring a separate analytics tool.

Data Sources

Traffic data comes from two sources:

1. Google Analytics 4 — If you've connected your GA4 account
2. Estimated traffic — Based on search impression data from Google Search Console

Key Metrics

• Daily/weekly/monthly visitors — Trend charts with period-over-period comparison
• Traffic sources — Organic search, direct, referral, social, paid
• Top landing pages — Which pages attract the most visitors
• Geographic distribution — Where your visitors are located
• Device breakdown — Desktop vs mobile vs tablet

Traffic Anomaly Detection

LemWatch automatically flags unusual traffic patterns:

• Sudden drops — Could indicate a site outage, SEO penalty, or broken redirect
• Unexpected spikes — Might signal viral content, a bot attack, or successful campaign
• Source shifts — Changes in traffic mix (e.g., organic dropping while direct rises)
