LemWatch crawls your website to find broken internal and external links, dead anchors, and 404 pages that hurt SEO and UX.
Broken Links Detection
How It Works
LemWatch crawls your site's pages and tests every link it finds. Links returning 404, 500, or timing out are flagged as broken.
What We Find
Internal broken links — Links to pages on your own site that don't exist
External broken links — Links to other websites that are down or removed
Redirect chains — Links that go through multiple redirects (slow and SEO-harmful)
Anchor links — Fragment links (#section) pointing to non-existent page sections
How to Fix
Navigate to your site's SEO tab
Click Broken Links to see the full list
For each broken link, you'll see:
The page containing the link
The broken URL
The HTTP error code
Suggested fix (update URL, remove link, or set up redirect)
Automatic Tracking
LemWatch tracks broken links over time. When a previously working link breaks, you'll get an alert. When you fix it, LemWatch confirms the resolution on the next check.
