# Set up visual monitoring for a page

## Quick answer

 Open the site, go to **Visual Monitoring → Add page**, paste the URL, pick a check frequency, and save. Lemwatch captures a baseline screenshot and starts comparing every run.

## What it does

- Captures full-page screenshots on a schedule (hourly, daily, weekly)

- Compares each new capture to the last baseline using pixel + text diff

- Flags changes above your sensitivity threshold as incidents

 Site details → **Visual Monitoring** tab → **Add page**. Full path: **Sites → [your site] → Visual Monitoring**.

## How to set it up

- Open the site and click Visual Monitoring .

- Click Add page and paste the exact URL you want watched.

- Choose a check frequency — hourly for high-change pages, daily for marketing pages.

- (Optional) Add a CSS selector to watch a single element instead of the full page.

- Click Save . The first run is your baseline; no alert fires.
