# Rocket.Chat Integration

> Send LemWatch alerts to a Rocket.Chat channel via incoming integration.

## Rocket.Chat Integration

### Pro Plan and Above

### Setup

- As an admin, open Administration → Workspace → Integrations → New → Incoming .

- Enable the integration, give it a name, pick the Post to Channel (e.g. #alerts ), and Post as a user (e.g. lemwatch ).

- Save, then copy the Webhook URL (looks like https://your-rocketchat.example.com/hooks/<id>/<token> ).

- In LemWatch: Settings → Notifications → Rocket.Chat webhook → paste and save.

- Click Send test to verify.

### Message format

 Rocket.Chat understands Slack-style attachments natively, so alerts render with severity-coloured side bars, structured fields, and a link back to the LemWatch dashboard.

### Self-hosted notes

- HTTPS only; private/loopback IPs are blocked server-side.

- Works with Rocket.Chat Cloud and self-hosted instances on any version that supports incoming webhooks.
