# How to claim and share a Pulse scan

> Claim a Pulse scan to convert it into a monitored site in your Lemwatch dashboard. Share the public scan URL with a client to prove a problem exists.

## Quick answer

On any Pulse scan page click **Claim this site** → sign in or sign up → the site drops into your dashboard with monitoring already on.

## What claiming does

- Creates the site in your org (respects plan limits)

- Turns on uptime + performance + security monitoring by default

- Retains the Pulse scan as your first baseline

- Links future scans to the claimed site

## Where to find it in Lemwatch

Any **/pulse/<scan-id>** page → Claim button.

## How to share a scan

- Copy the /pulse/<scan-id> URL.

- Send to your client — no login required to view.

- They see the exact grade and failing checks you saw.

- Great for lead-gen: "here's what's broken, we can fix it".

## FAQ

### Can two people claim the same domain?

No — first claim wins for that org. Others can still view the public scan.

### Does claiming cost credits?

No — but the newly monitored site counts toward your plan's site limit.
