# Monitor Grouping & Aggregate Status

> Group sites by tag and see aggregate uptime, health, and incident counts across product lines or clients.

## Monitor Grouping & Aggregate Status

Group sites by tag and view aggregate status at a glance. Essential for agencies managing dozens of clients and for product teams monitoring multiple environments (production, staging, dev).

### How It Works

- Assign one or more tags to each site — e.g., Production , Client: Acme , Region: EU . Tags are freeform; you can create them on the fly.

- Switch to Group View on the dashboard (top-right toggle, or press g then v ).

- Sites are grouped by their primary tag with an aggregate row on top: total count, up/down/paused split, average uptime %, worst health score, and open incident count.

### Aggregate Metrics

- Uptime % — weighted average across all sites in the group over the selected time window

- Health score — the minimum score in the group (surfaces the weakest site first)

- Open incidents — count of currently-firing incidents across the group

- Response time — median across all sites, useful for spotting regional slowdowns

### Multi-Tag Sites

A site with multiple tags appears in each group. The aggregate row deduplicates on site ID so you don't double-count uptime.

### Group-Scoped Reports

When you have Group View enabled, PDF reports and CSV exports respect the current group filter. Great for client-facing weekly summaries — one PDF per tag, sent automatically via **Reports → Scheduled Delivery**.

### FAQ

**Can groups be nested?** Not yet — use compound tags ( Client:Acme:Production ) as a workaround. Nested groups are on the roadmap.

**Can I rename a tag across all sites?** Yes — **Settings → Tags → Rename**. The change propagates instantly.
