## Lighthouse Reports

### What Is Lighthouse?

 Google Lighthouse is an automated auditing tool that evaluates web pages across multiple categories. LemWatch runs Lighthouse audits on both mobile and desktop viewports with every site check.

### Categories Tested

 Category — What's measured —

 **Performance** — Core Web Vitals, load times, render-blocking resources —

 **Accessibility** — ARIA labels, contrast ratios, keyboard navigation —

 **Best Practices** — HTTPS, console errors, deprecated APIs —

 **SEO** — Meta tags, crawlability, mobile-friendly design —

### Viewing Results

- Navigate to your site's detail page

- Click the Performance tab

- View mobile and desktop scores side-by-side

- Click "View Full Report" for the detailed Lighthouse breakdown

### Understanding Scores

- 90–100 🟢 — Good. Your page performs well

- 50–89 🟡 — Needs improvement. Review the specific audit failures

- 0–49 🔴 — Poor. Significant issues need fixing

### Mobile vs Desktop

 LemWatch runs **separate** Lighthouse audits for mobile and desktop:

- Mobile — Simulates a mid-range phone on a 4G connection

- Desktop — Simulates a standard desktop on a broadband connection

 Mobile scores are typically lower due to simulated throttling.

### Trend Tracking

 View score trends over 7, 30, and 90 days on the Performance tab. Spot regressions caused by deployments or third-party script changes.
