# How to Change Your Email or Password

> Update your account email address or reset your password.

## How to Change Your Email or Password

### Changing Your Display Name

- Go to Settings → Account

- Edit the Display Name field

- Click "Update"

- Your new name appears across the app immediately

### Changing Your Password

- Go to Settings → Account

- Click "Change Password"

- Enter your current password

- Enter and confirm your new password

- Click "Update Password"

 **Password requirements:**

- Minimum 8 characters

- At least one uppercase letter

- At least one number

- At least one special character

### Changing Your Email Address

- Go to Settings → Account

- Click "Change Email"

- Enter your new email address

- A verification link is sent to the new email

- Click the verification link to confirm the change

 **Note:** You'll receive a notification at your old email address about the change for security purposes.

### Forgot Your Password?

- Go to the login page

- Click "Forgot password?"

- Enter your email address

- Check your inbox for a reset link

- Click the link and set a new password

 The reset link expires after 1 hour. Request a new one if it expires.
