# Browser Push Notifications

## Browser Push Notifications

### What Are They?

 Browser push notifications deliver instant alerts to your desktop or mobile browser — even when LemWatch isn't open. They appear as native OS notifications.

### How to Enable

- When you first visit LemWatch, you'll see a prompt to enable push notifications

- Click "Enable" and allow the browser permission

- Or go to Settings → Notifications → Browser Push to enable later

### What Triggers a Push?

- Site goes down (critical)

- SSL certificate expiring within 7 days (warning)

- Security vulnerability detected (critical)

- Performance budget exceeded (warning)

### Supported Browsers

- Chrome (desktop + Android)

- Firefox (desktop)

- Edge (desktop)

- Safari (macOS Ventura+)

### Managing Notifications

 You can customise which events trigger push notifications in **Settings → Notifications**. Quiet hours also apply to push notifications.
