# Money Page

> A money page is a webpage directly responsible for revenue — the homepage, a pricing page, a checkout flow, a high-converting landing page. It is the page where outages and content errors translate into immediate lost revenue.

## Definition

Money page monitoring goes deeper than uptime: it verifies that the buy button is present, the price is correct, the checkout link points where it should, the form submits successfully, and the conversion path completes end-to-end.

Dedicated money-page checks combine visual regression, DOM assertions, custom rule engines, and synthetic transactions to catch the small breakages that uptime monitoring misses but that destroy conversion rate.

## Why it matters

A pricing page that loads 200 OK but shows the wrong currency, or a checkout page where the submit button is hidden under a misplaced cookie banner, can cost more in lost revenue per hour than a full-site outage. Money pages deserve their own monitoring tier.
